About the Role

Our client is looking for a visionary Senior Project Manager to lead exciting development projects within their wine tourism division in Paarl . This role involves managing initiatives focused on enhancing visitor experiences, developing new hospitality offerings, and optimizing winery infrastructure for tourism. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from conceptualization and feasibility studies to execution and launch, ensuring projects meet brand standards and deliver exceptional value. The ideal candidate will combine strong project management expertise with a passion for hospitality, customer experience, and the wine industry, contributing to Paarl's reputation as a premier wine tourism destination.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and implementation of wine tourism development projects.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to ensure successful outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing, hospitality, and winemaking teams, as well as external partners and contractors.
• Identify potential risks and challenges, developing proactive strategies to ensure project success.
• Ensure all projects align with the company's brand identity, sustainability goals, and operational requirements.
• Oversee vendor selection and contract management for project-related services and construction.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management , preferably within hospitality, tourism, or event management.
• Demonstrated experience in managing capital projects or new development initiatives.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• A creative approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail and customer experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
