Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead digital transformation initiatives in Soweto, Gauteng. The role blends strategic oversight with hands-on delivery, guiding IT, marketing, operations, and external vendors to deliver on time and within budget.

You will drive risk management, stakeholder engagement, and post-project reviews, champion best practices, and ensure user adoption of new technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project management, with a strong emphasis on digital transformation projects.
• Proven experience managing projects with budgets exceeding R5 million.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate diverse teams.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
• Experience working within the Gauteng region is highly advantageous.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is strongly preferred.

• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for digital transformation programs, encompassing scope, timelines, resources, and budget.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, operations, and external vendors, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication channels.
