About the Role

Our client, a leading consulting firm, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to spearhead critical digital transformation initiatives within their East London operations. This pivotal role will involve managing complex projects from inception to successful completion, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and delivering exceptional value to stakeholders. You will be instrumental in driving innovation and optimizing business processes through the implementation of cutting-edge technologies. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex digital transformation projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and schedules.
• Manage cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed.
• Effectively communicate project status, progress, and key milestones to all stakeholders, including senior management.
• Oversee resource allocation and manage vendor relationships.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management methodologies and practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a Senior Project Manager role.
• Proven experience managing large-scale digital transformation projects, ideally within the consulting or financial services sectors.
• Strong understanding of various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
• A relevant Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree or PMP certification is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Experience working in or managing projects with components of hybrid work models is advantageous.
