The ideal candidate holds SACAP PrArch registration, 10+ years in architecture, strong leadership, and expertise in construction methods. The role offers hybrid working arrangements and opportunities to shape KwaZulu-Natal's development.

Qualifications

• Must hold SACAP PrArch registration.
• 10+ years post-qualification experience in architectural practice.
• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage architectural projects from initial concept design through to final handover.
• Develop creative and technically sound design solutions that meet client requirements and regulatory standards.
• Oversee and coordinate the work of design teams, including architects, technologists, and external consultants.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct regular site inspections and provide technical oversight during construction phases.
• Prepare and present design proposals, reports, and project updates to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability practices.
• Foster strong client relationships and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor and guide junior architectural staff, promoting professional growth and technical development.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and authorities having jurisdiction to ensure smooth project progression.
