The ideal candidate brings a minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience, SACAP registration, and a proven track record delivering complex projects on time and within budget in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
• Registration with SACAP is essential.
• Minimum 10 years post-qualification experience in industrial, infrastructure, or large-scale projects.
• Proven project management leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of South African building codes and zoning laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and execution of major industrial and infrastructure projects.
• Develop comprehensive architectural plans, technical drawings, and specifications suitable for industrial applications.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers, as well as other specialists, to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Conduct thorough site assessments and feasibility studies for new developments in Richards Bay.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations pertaining to industrial construction in KwaZulu-Natal.
• Liaise with clients, government agencies, and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee the construction process, resolving design-related issues and ensuring quality control.
• Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior members of the architectural team.
