Placements24 is seeking an experienced Project Architect to oversee major industrial and infrastructure initiatives in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will drive architectural design from concept through completion, ensuring technical excellence and strict safety and regulatory adherence.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience on large-scale projects, SACAP registration, and advanced skills in AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• Professional architecture qualification (B.Arch or M.Arch) from a recognized institution.
• SACAP registration is essential.
• 10+ years of post-qualification experience in industrial, infrastructure, or large-scale projects.
• Proven project management experience and multidisciplinary team leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and related software.
• In-depth knowledge of SA building codes and zoning for industrial developments.
• Experience with site planning and land development for industrial zones.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and execution of major industrial projects.
• Develop architectural plans, drawings, and specifications for industrial use.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and resources for project delivery.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure integrated designs.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies in Richards Bay.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Liaise with clients and authorities throughout the project.
