Placements24 is seeking a proactive Production Engineer to join the Mossel Bay team. You will optimize oil and gas production facilities, monitor well performance, and drive interventions to maximize output while ensuring safety and compliance.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in upstream production engineering, strong knowledge of artificial lift methods, and experience with production software. This role offers opportunities for growth and development in the energy sector.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of upstream production engineering experience in oil and gas.
• Experience with artificial lift methods and production optimization techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for production data interpretation.
• Familiarity with production software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and analyze production data from wells and facilities to identify trends and issues.
• Optimize well performance through artificial lift techniques and production system adjustments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues including equipment failures.
• Develop and implement workover and intervention plans.
• Collaborate with reservoir engineers to forecast production and support field development.
• Ensure all production activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
