Job summary

Network Finance in KwaZulu-Natal seeks an experienced Chemical Process Safety Engineer to drive safety programs across chemical manufacturing projects. You will collaborate with engineering and operations teams to embed safety standards from design through execution.

Responsibilities include leading process safety investigations, identifying root causes, and proposing corrective actions, plus supporting training on hazard awareness, emergency response, and fundamentals of process safety.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of chemical manufacturing and process safety experience.
• BEng Chemical-qualified applicants preferred.
• Strong project management and engineering knowledge.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams during project design and implementation to incorporate safety standards.
• Support process safety incident investigations, determine root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Support training programs related to chemical hazard awareness, emergency response, and process safety fundamentals
