Job summary

Placements24 seeks a highly experienced Senior Process Optimization Engineer for a fully remote role. You will analyze complex operations, lead design and implementation of innovative solutions, and drive efficiency through data-driven insights.

You will model future-state processes, collaborate with senior management remotely, establish KPIs, and deliver measurable cost reductions across large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a closely related quantitative field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in process optimization, industrial engineering, or operations management.
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt or Master Black Belt preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in process simulation software (Arena, AnyLogic), statistical software (Minitab, R), and data visualization tools.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis of intricate business and production processes to identify root causes of inefficiency and waste.
• Develop and implement advanced optimization strategies using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other relevant methodologies.
• Design and model future-state processes, workflows, and system architectures to achieve strategic operational goals.
• Utilize sophisticated data analysis and simulation tools to quantify the impact of proposed changes and predict outcomes.
• Collaborate virtually with senior management, cross-functional teams, and external partners to drive consensus and facilitate the implementation of optimization projects.
• Establish KPIs, monitor process performance post-implementation, and ensure sustained improvements.
