Placements24 seeks a Senior Process Optimization Engineer for a fully remote, globally distributed role. You will analyze complex process data, identify inefficiencies, and implement data-driven solutions to improve yield, reduce costs, and enhance product quality in a virtual, collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years in process engineering with strong SPC/DoE expertise and experience with Python, R or JMP for data analysis.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related quantitative field.
- 10+ years of process engineering experience focusing on optimization and data analysis.
- Expertise in SPC, DoE, and data analytics tools.
- Proven track record implementing process improvements in industry.
- Strong remote communication skills and ability to work across teams.
Responsibilities
- Analyze process data with advanced statistics and simulations to find optimization opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, throughput, and yield.
- Collaborate with site-based and operations teams to execute optimization projects and monitor impact.
- Design and conduct experiments to validate improvements and collect performance data.
- Develop and maintain process documentation and performance reports.
- Stay current with new optimization technologies and apply where beneficial.
