Placements24 is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for Plant Operations Support in Klerksdorp, North West. This on-site role focuses on process troubleshooting, performance optimization, and continuous improvement to ensure safe, efficient chemical production.

You will lead technical support for the operations team, analyze data, implement process enhancements, and collaborate with maintenance and management to elevate safety, reliability, and product quality across the plant.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in chemical plant operations or process engineering support.
• Proven troubleshooting and optimization experience in industrial chemical processes.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, kinetics and fluid dynamics; familiarity with instrumentation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct technical support to plant operations to resolve process-related issues.
• Monitor process performance, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to optimize efficiency and yield.
• Conduct root cause analysis for operational upsets and equipment failures.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Assist in developing and updating operating procedures and training materials.
• Participate in process hazard analyses and safety reviews for plant changes.
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure reliability of process equipment.
• Support new product introductions and process validation activities.
• Analyze process data and generate KPI reports.
• Ensure operations adhere to safety and environmental regulations.
