Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Process Engineer in Klerksdorp, North West to drive process optimization across manufacturing lines. You will design and implement new processes, apply Lean Six Sigma to reduce waste, and analyze production data to improve quality and cost efficiency.

You will develop SOPs and P&IDs, manage improvement projects from initiation to completion, and mentor junior staff to foster a culture of operational excellence within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in process engineering in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in process documentation (SOPs and P&IDs).
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and influence cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of new manufacturing processes and systems.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma principles to identify and eliminate waste and inefficiencies.
• Conduct detailed analysis of production data to pinpoint areas for improvement and track progress.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs and P&IDs.
• Manage and execute process improvement projects from initiation to completion.
• Train and mentor junior engineering staff and production teams on process best practices.
