Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to optimize operations within our Klerksdorp facilities. You will analyze processes, design improvements, and drive lean initiatives to reduce waste and improve productivity.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes, ensure safety, and achieve cost-effective manufacturing goals. A strong background in lean tools and data analysis is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in an industrial engineering role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience with lean manufacturing principles and tools.
• Proficiency in process simulation and data analysis software.
• Strong understanding of workplace ergonomics and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing and assembly processes to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and reduced waste.
• Develop and implement process improvements using tools such as value stream mapping and 5S methodologies.
• Design and optimize factory layouts and material flow for maximum productivity and safety.
• Conduct work measurement studies and establish time standards for various operations.
• Collaborate with production staff and management to implement changes and ensure buy-in.
• Track KPIs related to productivity, quality, and cost, and report findings.
