The role requires a chemical or mechanical engineering background with extensive process simulation and PFD/P&ID experience, plus a strong focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred).
• 6+ years as a Process Engineer in energy or heavy industry.
• Experience with process simulations and PFDs/P&IDs is essential.
• Strong safety, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and troubleshoot industrial processes for energy production.
• Run process simulations to evaluate performance and test designs.
• Lead process safety reviews and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop process documentation including PFDs and P&IDs.
• Support commissioning and startup of new/modified units.
