Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Process Engineer for our Oil & Gas division. This fully remote role requires deep expertise in process design, simulation, and optimization to enhance production efficiency while ensuring safety and compliance.

You will model complex hydrocarbon processes and collaborate with teams across locations to deliver solutions. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in Oil & Gas, strong skills in Aspen Plus or HYSYS, and experience with HAZOP studies in

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
8+ years of progressive Oil & Gas process engineering experience.
Proficiency with process simulation tools (Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and data analysis.
Experience with HAZOP studies and risk assessment methodologies.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize petroleum refining processes and chemical engineering systems.
Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for new projects and modifications to existing facilities.
Utilize process simulation software (Aspen Plus, HYSYS) to model and analyze process performance.
Develop PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams) and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions to enhance safety, efficiency, and product quality.
Collaborate remotely with project managers, discipline engineers, and operational teams to ensure project success.
