You will model processes with Aspen Plus or HYSYS, develop P&IDs, mass and energy balances, and lead safety reviews (HAZOP/LOPA) while collaborating with R&D, operations and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Process Engineer in petrochemical/chemical industry.
• Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles and process design.
• Proficiency with process simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes for petrochemical production, ensuring safety, efficiency, and environmental compliance.
• Conduct process simulations and modeling using Aspen Plus or HYSYS.
• Troubleshoot operational issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to improve process performance.
• Develop P&IDs, mass and energy balances, and equipment specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, operations, and maintenance.
• Lead process safety reviews (HAZOP, LOPA) and ensure adherence to safety standards.
