Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in process development and scale-up within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of organic synthesis, reaction kinetics, and thermodynamics.
• Proven experience with process safety evaluations and risk assessments.
• Familiarity with GMP regulations and pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and scale-up chemical synthesis routes for APIs and intermediates.
• Investigate and resolve process-related issues to improve yield, purity, and efficiency.
• Conduct process hazard analyses and implement safety improvements.
• Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality Control, and Production teams to support tech transfer.
• Author and review process development reports, validation protocols, and batch records.
