Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Pharmaceutical Production Supervisor for our client’s facility in Klerksdorp, North West. The role focuses on leading a production team, ensuring cGMP compliance and safe operations on the shop floor.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with supervisory experience, and a strong background in GMP, quality management and MES/ERP usage. On-site role with shift work in Klerksdorp.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing with 2+ years in supervision.
• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical production processes and cGMP.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
• Willingness to work shifts and be physically present on site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production activities and supervise production operators.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs and safety regulations.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
• Manage staff scheduling, training, evaluations, and development.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, calibration and functionality.
• Maintain production records and batch manufacturing records.
