Placements24 in Rustenburg is seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing operations. You will oversee daily production activities, manage a team of operators, and drive GMP-compliant processes to ensure product quality and safety.

This role focuses on optimizing throughput, implementing process improvements, maintaining accurate batch records, and coordinating with maintenance and QA to sustain high standards at our Rustenburg facility.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, manufacturing processes, and quality control in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with pharmaceutical equipment and production scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities, ensuring targets for volume, quality, and safety are met.
• Manage, train, and motivate a team of production operators, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure adherence to all GMP, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Monitor production processes, identify potential issues, and implement timely solutions to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.
• Participate in process validation, equipment qualification, and the implementation of new manufacturing technologies.
• Maintain accurate production records, including batch manufacturing records (BMRs), and contribute to production planning and scheduling.
