Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee production at a state-of-the-art facility in Richards Bay. You will lead a team of supervisors and operators, ensure GMP compliance with FDA standards, and drive continuous improvement to optimize schedules and costs.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, Pharmacy, or life sciences, with a Master's or MBA a plus, and a minimum of 8 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, or life sciences.
• Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
• 8+ years in progressive pharmaceutical manufacturing management.
• Proven leadership and regulatory compliance experience (GMP/FDA).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor production supervisors, operators, and staff.
• Ensure GMP and regulatory compliance across all activities.
• Develop production schedules to meet demand and minimize costs.
• Drive process improvements and lean initiatives to reduce waste.
• Manage budgets, CAPEX, and inventory for manufacturing.
