Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee operations at their Rustenburg facility. You will lead production operators and technicians to ensure compliant, safe and efficient manufacture of pharmaceutical products, with daily planning and GMP adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and pharmaceutical production technologies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct daily manufacturing activities, ensuring production targets are met safely and efficiently.
• Ensure strict adherence to GMP, SOPs, and all relevant regulatory requirements.
• Train, mentor, and manage a team of production personnel, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Monitor production processes, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and efficiency.

About the Role

This critical role involves leading a team of production operators and technicians to ensure the efficient, safe, and compliant manufacture of high-quality pharmaceutical products. You will be responsible for daily production planning, adherence to stringent GMP guidelines, and continuous improvement initiatives.
