Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Performance Improvement Consultant to join our client in Kimberley, Northern Cape. The role focuses on diagnosing operational performance, designing improvements, and guiding execution with senior client stakeholders.

You will lead engagements, map processes, and apply lean or Six Sigma approaches to deliver measurable gains. Travel within the region is expected, and a strong consulting mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in performance improvement, operations management, or similar.
• Proven track record leading projects delivering measurable improvements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and influence stakeholders.
• Experience with process mapping, lean principles, or Six Sigma is desirable.
• Willing to be based in Kimberley and travel within the region.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements focused on assessing and improving business performance.
• Conduct detailed analysis of operational processes, identifying inefficiencies and areas for optimization.
• Develop actionable recommendations and implementation roadmaps for performance enhancement.
• Manage project teams and client stakeholders to ensure successful execution of improvement initiatives.
• Utilize data-driven approaches to measure baseline performance and track progress.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to embed new processes and capabilities within client organizations.
• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with client leadership.
• Contribute to the development of new performance improvement methodologies and best practices.
• Support business development activities, including proposal preparation.
