Job summary

Weaver FinTech Group in Wynberg, Cape Town, is seeking a senior HR generalist to join the People team. You will partner with senior management to attract, develop and retain talent, implement strategic People initiatives, and drive engagement and performance across the business.

Responsibilities include analytics, dashboards, discipline support, remuneration alignment, and well-being programs. Hybrid work arrangement, coaching and bursaries are offered to support professional growth.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in organizational psychology or related.
• 4 to 5 years senior HR generalist experience.
• Good computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience in stakeholder management at senior management level.
• Knowledge of and experience with various People related systems.
• Strong employee relations experience and exposure.

Responsibilities

• Stay abreast of industry trends and contribute to the People strategy.
• Conduct internal and external trend analysis and provide talent insights.
• Engage with business to align People initiatives with business needs.
• Partner with stakeholders to empower teams and manage performance.
• Share People reports with insights to senior management.
• Improve People processes through innovation or automation.
• Drive recruitment in partnership with Talent Acquisition.
• Support the performance excellence process across units.
• Collaborate on People initiatives and projects.
• Manage learning initiatives and interventions.
• Provide advice on discipline and handle CCMA cases as needed.
• Support culture initiatives and address organisational challenges.
• Ensure a positive employee experience from onboarding to offboarding.
