Job summary

Hire Resolve, a leading South African payment solutions provider, seeks a dynamic Business Development Lead to drive exponential transaction growth. Focus on optimizing existing accounts and onboarding high-volume billers while building strategic partnerships.

The role blends high-level strategy with hands-on execution, requiring 5–8 years in payments or financial services, deep payments knowledge, and a willingness to travel in Gauteng and beyond.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification is required.
• 5–8 years of experience in the payments or financial industry with referenceable enterprise-level sales and CRM success.
• Deep knowledge of the payments ecosystem across retail, digital, banking, card schemes, EFT, and settlement/acquiring.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle; ability to travel frequently.
• Fluency in business English; additional languages are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Drive transaction growth by sourcing and onboarding high-volume billers.
• Manage strategic partnerships with banks and referral networks.
• Identify and implement innovative payment solutions to expand Pay@ offerings.
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams; collaborate with Marketing to boost brand presence.
• Oversee service delivery for biller activities and provide sales forecasts and reporting.
