Placements24 is seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our client’s team in Kimberley, Northern Cape, ZA. This on-site role requires expertise in network infrastructure, servers, and related hardware/software to deliver high-level technical assistance to enterprise clients.

You will diagnose complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, install and maintain equipment, and collaborate with engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in technical support or network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
• CCNA/Network+ or MCSA certifications are advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Provide advanced technical support for network infrastructure, servers, and related hardware/software.
• Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues for enterprise clients.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.
• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment and server environments.
• Respond to tickets within defined SLAs and collaborate with engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain troubleshooting guides and configurations.
• Conduct on-site installations, upgrades, and problem resolution.
• Mentor junior staff and share knowledge.
