Placements24 is seeking a Senior Telecoms Systems Administrator to manage and secure our critical IT and telecoms infrastructure in Kimberley. You will oversee servers, applications, and network services, with a focus on reliability, performance, and security.

The role demands strong admin skills across Windows Server, Linux, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and automation scripting (PowerShell, Bash). You will implement backups, DR plans, patching, and provide expert troubleshooting to keep

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT/CS experience.
• 5+ years in systems administration with telecoms focus.
• Strong Windows/Linux server, virtualization, and security knowledge.
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and security protocols.
• Scripting in PowerShell and Bash for automation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain servers, OSs, and core telecoms apps.
