The candidate will oversee security infrastructure, collaborate with IT and development teams, and mentor junior engineers while staying current with evolving cyber threats and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Security or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in network security engineering, with a focus on enterprise networks.
• Strong knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and technologies (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, SSL/TLS, authentication).
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Experience with cloud security concepts (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable.
• Security policy development and implementation skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities; CISSP, CCNP Security, or GIAC are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network security infrastructure (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, WAFs).
• Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
• Monitor network traffic and security logs for suspicious activity and breaches.
• Respond to security incidents, leading containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into architecture and lifecycles.
• Stay current with threats and mitigation techniques; mentor junior engineers.
• Manage security-related projects and documentation.
