Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Cybersecurity.
• 5+ years in network engineering with security focus.
• Experience with Palo Alto and Cisco ASA firewalls, VPNs, and IDPS.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and network segmentation.
• Experience with SIEM systems.
• Certs such as CCNA Security, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+ are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network security measures including firewalls, VPNs, IDPS.
• Monitor network traffic for security breaches and respond to alerts.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests.
• Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into infrastructure projects.
• Stay current with threats and technologies, providing improvement recommendations.
