Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years in network security, cybersecurity analysis, or similar role.
• Deep understanding of network protocols, OS, and security architecture.
• Proficiency with Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit and SIEM platforms.
• Experience with cloud security best practices (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Certs like CISSP, CEH, GIAC are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage advanced network security solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and SIEM systems.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing to identify and remediate weaknesses.
• Monitor network traffic and security logs for suspicious activities and potential breaches.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans, leading the response to security breaches and data loss incidents.
• Create and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures across the organisation.
• Provide security awareness training to staff and contribute to security strategy and roadmap development.
