Placements24 client in Midrand is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to maintain and enhance the telecommunications infrastructure, ensuring robust network performance for the region.

You will design, implement, and support complex network solutions, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with security teams; a hybrid work model and opportunities for professional development are included.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of network engineering experience with telecom focus.
• Desirable CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certifications.
• Experience with network monitoring and performance analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Design, configure, and deploy enterprise network solutions including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations for high availability and low latency.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and procedures.
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce network security policies.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
