Placements24 is seeking a Telecommunications Infrastructure Engineer to join our Randburg-based technical operations team. This hybrid role blends on-site work for critical infrastructure with remote design and analysis tasks to ensure high availability and performance across the network.

You will design, implement, and maintain scalable telecom networks, lead upgrades, and collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of telecom infrastructure engineering experience.
• Proficient with routers, switches and firewalls.
• Experience with fiber optics, wireless tech, and VoIP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hybrid work environment across multiple locations.
