Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field (Mining/Mechanical).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in mine ventilation engineering, preferably underground.
• Proficiency with mine ventilation modeling software (VENTSIM, VnetPC).

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize mine ventilation systems, including fan selection, ducting, and air distribution strategies for underground mines.
• Conduct site visits for data collection, system assessments, and on-site troubleshooting.
• Perform airflow and thermal modeling using specialized ventilation software.
• Develop and implement strategies for dust control, gas monitoring, and air quality management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations pertaining to mine ventilation.
• Collaborate with mine planning, production, and safety departments to integrate ventilation requirements into operations.
