Placements24 seeks a Senior Ventilation Engineer to lead design, implementation and management of underground mine ventilation in the Stellenbosch region. You will optimize networks, run airflow modeling, and ensure compliance with safety standards to protect worker health and optimize operations.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mining or Mechanical Engineering with ventilation specialization, 8+ years of underground experience, and proficiency in MineVent/VENTSIM.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field with ventilation specialization.
• 8+ years of progressive underground mine ventilation experience.
• Proficiency with MineVent, VENTSIM, or similar software.
• Solid understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer in mine environments.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
