Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Mine Surveyor for our client in Klerksdorp, North West. You will establish and maintain underground survey control networks and provide data for stoping and reconciliation.

Requires a Mine Surveying degree, CoC, and at least 5 years of underground experience. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Surpac, Leica software and strong safety performance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mine Surveying or related field.
• Valid Mine Surveyor's CoC is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in underground surveying.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Surpac and Leica software.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain survey control networks underground.
• Survey development ends, stopes, and production areas.
• Monitor excavations, services and geological structures.
• Prepare detailed survey plans and reports for mine planning.
• Perform reconciliation of surveyed volumes with production records.
• Operate total stations, theodolites and GPS equipment.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies underground.
• Assist in setting out drilling targets and production faces.
