Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of hands-on mechanical design and systems engineering experience.
• Proficiency in CAD and simulation tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, ANSYS, ABAQUS, COMSOL).
• Experience in mining or heavy industrial equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze complex mechanical systems for mining and industrial environments.
• Use CAD to develop detailed drawings and BOMs.
• Run simulations (FEA/CFD) to optimize performance and verify designs.
• Collaborate with electrical, software and manufacturing engineers for integrated solutions.
• Oversee fabrication, assembly and testing of prototypes and production units.
• Document design processes, test results and recommendations.
