Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical qualification.
Minimum of 5 years hands-on mechanical design and product development experience.
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor) and experience with FEA.
Strong reading of complex engineering drawings and tolerance specifications.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Conceptualize, design, and detail mechanical components and assemblies using CAD.
Develop 3D models and 2D drawings with precise tolerances and specs.
Perform mechanical analyses (stress, thermal) to ensure design integrity.
Collaborate with manufacturing to optimize for cost and production efficiency.
Maintain BOMs and participate in design reviews and feasibility studies.
Support prototype testing and field feedback to refine designs.
