Job summary

Tronox is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer - Mechanical for Fairbreeze Mine to lead reliability engineering and asset management activities within our mining maintenance team. You will focus on failure analysis, maintenance strategy optimization, and cost-effective asset decisions.

Candidates should have 5–10 years post degree experience in reliability engineering with strong computer skills; GCC Mines and Works certification is advantageous, and a valid driver’s license is mandatory.

Qualifications

• BTech/BSC/BEng in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Driver’s license mandatory for site access and driving
• GCC Mines and Works will be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Approve and assist with specifying installation steps of mechanical equipment to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Analyze and systematically solve large or repetitive problems and present recommendations.
• Monitor and benchmark failure trends on key assets.
• Identify and mitigate asset-related risks.
• Quantify the value of improvements and build a business case.
