Job summary

AGC Mining Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking an Asset Manager for a Northern Cape mining site. You will oversee the maintenance strategy to ensure safe, reliable plant operation and drive asset performance across the operation.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, GCC certification, and 3+ years in maintenance and asset management within mining, with leadership experience to guide teams and projects.

Qualifications

• B Degree/BTech in Mechanical Engineering (NQF 7).
• GCC certificate (Mines and Works) is required or advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years in operational Engineering Maintenance Management in mining.
• Minimum 3 years in asset management and 2 years in management roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee asset integrity and equipment reliability management.
• Coordinate maintenance programs and ensure MHSA compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimization of assets.
• Manage stakeholder relations and SHERQ adherence.
