Job summary

Isilumko Staffing invites applications for an Engineering Manager: Spares, Services & Reliability to lead technical oversight across spare parts, field service operations, refurbishment and reliability initiatives.

The role requires a degree/diploma in mechanical engineering, extensive experience in mechanical engineering environments, and strong leadership with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement. Travel to client sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in a mechanical engineering environment.
• Experience in mining, heavy engineering or industrial equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for aftermarket products and services.
• Provide engineering support for vibrating screens, feeders, exciters and related equipment.
• Review and approve technical quotations and repair scopes.
• Support customer technical enquiries and engineering requirements.
• Review manufacturing drawings and specifications for compliance.
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards and original design requirements.
• Lead field service teams and provide technical leadership.
• Inspect components and assemblies for dimensional compliance.
• Oversee refurbishment and repair projects.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for reliability.
• Prepare technical reports for customers and management.
• Develop and maintain field service methodologies and standards.
• Conduct site inspections, customer visits and commissioning activities.
• Identify opportunities for equipment improvements and product development.
