Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering, preferably with industrial equipment.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software and experience with FEA/CFD simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, materials science, and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test mechanical components and systems for industrial machinery using CAD software (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks).
• Perform engineering calculations and simulations, including stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics analysis, to ensure design integrity.
• Specify materials, components, and manufacturing processes, ensuring compatibility with operational requirements and cost targets.
• Collaborate with electrical and control engineers to integrate mechanical systems with automated controls.
• Develop technical documentation, including drawings, BOMs, operation manuals, and maintenance procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in existing equipment, providing solutions to improve performance and longevity.
