You will create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and collaborate with engineers and manufacturing specialists to ensure robust, cost-effective solutions.

Requirements include a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology and 5–8 years of experience, with strong GD&T knowledge and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent required.
• 5–8 years of professional experience as a Mechanical Designer or Drafter.
• Expert proficiency in SolidWorks or a comparable 3D CAD system; strong GD&T knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings for components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) with accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers to refine designs based on simulations and DFMs.
• Perform tolerance stack‑up analyses to ensure interchangeability and function.
• Assist in creating and maintaining design documentation and release processes.
• Support prototype builds and production by troubleshooting design issues.
