Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join its Cape Town finance team in a hybrid role, managing financial records, ensuring accuracy, and supporting financial planning and analysis. You will collaborate with both on-site and remote colleagues, contribute to month-end and year-end closings, reconciliations, and reporting, while ensuring adherence to accounting policies.

Responsibilities

Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
Contribute to the improvement of accounting systems and processes.
