Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Management Accountant in Midrand, Gauteng. The role focuses on costing, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to drive strategic decisions and operational efficiency.

You will translate complex financial data into actionable insights for management, develop financial strategies, and support growth while working in a hybrid setup that combines in-office collaboration with remote work.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Management Accounting.
Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or CA(SA) is strongly preferred.
Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in management accounting, costing, or financial analysis within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory management.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and forecasting abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
Experience with hybrid work models and strong self-discipline.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in Midrand, Gauteng.
High level of accuracy and commitment to deadlines.

Mansioni

Develop and manage the annual budget process and periodic forecasts.
Analyze product costs, manufacturing variances, and inventory valuation.
Prepare detailed management reports on financial performance, including profitability analysis.
Implement and maintain robust internal controls over financial processes.
Collaborate with operations and sales teams to understand cost drivers and identify savings opportunities.
Assist in the evaluation of capital expenditure proposals.
Contribute to the improvement of financial systems and reporting tools.
Provide financial support and analysis for new product development initiatives.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results to senior management.
