Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior M&A Consultant to guide clients through the full M&A lifecycle from target identification to post-merger integration in Sandton, Gauteng. The role demands strong financial modeling, negotiation, and client-management skills, with a focus on value creation in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead engagements, perform due diligence, advise on deal structures, and develop integration plans while mentoring junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• CA(SA), CFA, or MBA qualifications highly desirable.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in M&A advisory, IB, or corporate development.
• Proven track record in executing M&A transactions and deal processes.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions), and due diligence skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship abilities.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, client-facing Sandton environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead M&A engagements from origination to post-deal integration.
• Conduct financial due diligence, valuation analyses, and market assessments.
• Advise on deal structuring, negotiation strategies, and terms.
• Develop post-merger integration plans for value realization.
• Prepare M&A reports, financial models, and client presentations.
• Maintain relationships with clients, banks, and advisors.
• Identify new M&A opportunities and support business development.
