Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• Master’s degree (MBA or relevant) and/or professional certifications (CFA, CA(SA)) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, financial advisory, or private equity.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and M&A transaction processes.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex financial modeling, valuation analysis (DCF, precedent transactions, comparable companies), and sensitivity analysis for M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory mandates.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including financial, commercial, and operational aspects, for potential transactions.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, pitch books, and presentations for client meetings and internal deal reviews.
• Assist in deal execution, including transaction structuring, negotiation support, and coordination with legal and other advisors.
• Monitor market trends, economic developments, and industry dynamics to identify potential opportunities and risks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, intermediaries, and other stakeholders.
• Support junior team members through mentorship and guidance on analytical tasks.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Contribute to business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new client opportunities.
