Placements24 is seeking a Senior E-commerce Manager for a prominent luxury goods retailer in Paarl, Western Cape. You will lead online revenue growth, optimize the customer journey, and manage end-to-end digital commerce operations across platforms.

Responsibilities include developing digital marketing strategies, optimizing the online catalog, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive market share. A senior, data-driven leader with a passion for luxury retail is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce or related field.
• 6+ years in e-commerce management, with 2+ in a senior/managerial role, preferably luxury.
• Proven success in driving online sales growth and managing high-traffic sites.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, analytics tools and e-commerce platforms.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional project management and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• CRM systems knowledge.
• Passion for the luxury market and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive sales and market share growth.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the e-commerce website for optimal UX and performance.
• Oversee all digital marketing activities including SEO, SEM, social media, email, and affiliates.
• Analyze website traffic, sales data, and customer behavior to identify trends and opportunities.
• Manage online product catalog with accurate descriptions, imagery, and pricing.
• Develop and execute promotions and flash sales to drive conversions.
• Collaborate with marketing, IT, logistics, and customer service teams for a cohesive strategy.
• Stay informed about e-commerce technologies, trends, and competitor activity.
• Manage the e-commerce budget and report KPIs to senior management.
• Ensure brand consistency and luxury positioning across digital touchpoints.
