Placements24 is seeking a skilled Logistics and Distribution Manager to lead operations in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will drive end-to-end supply chain performance and manage a dedicated on-site logistics team.

Responsibilities include warehouse and inventory control, fleet coordination, KPI reporting, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while collaborating with procurement, production and sales.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in logistics and distribution management in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing complex supply chains, warehousing operations and transportation networks.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and systems.
• Proven ability to lead and develop operational teams.

Responsabilidades

• Manage all aspects of logistics and distribution, including warehousing, inventory control, and transportation.
• Develop and implement efficient supply chain strategies to meet production and delivery schedules.
• Oversee the operations of distribution centers, ensuring optimal resource utilization and workflow.
• Manage a fleet of vehicles and third-party logistics providers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and reliability.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and implement robust inventory management systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and transportation regulations.
• Lead and develop a team of logistics and warehouse personnel.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor KPIs and generate reports on logistics operations.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure seamless supply chain integration.
