Qualifications

• Master's degree with a research methodology component and a dissertation/project in the discipline.
• Honours degree at NQF 8 plus master's degree with a research component.
• Lecturing experience in research methods and design.
• Experience supervising postgraduate research proposals and projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and engage students according to module requirements.
• Manage resources including academic materials and consult with the Information Centre.
• Update learning management system and provide feedback to students.
• Engage and prepare students for assessments and develop assessments.
• Monitor student engagement and assessment submissions, escalating when needed.
• Attend academic meetings and contribute to module result analyses.
• Support monitoring of at-risk students in assigned modules.
• Complete academic professional development interventions per cycle.
