Job summary

Rosebank College, the Independent Institute of Education (The IIE), invites applications for a lecturer to teach IT-related modules, engage students and prepare assessments in line with module pacers.

You will support academic development, track results, update the learning management system, identify at-risk students, and collaborate with the Central Academic Team. A Master’s degree in IT or related field and 2–3 years of lecturing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in IT or related discipline.
• Master’s degree plus cognate business field with IT content is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and engage students based on module requirements.
• Update learning management system and provide feedback to students.
• Engage and prepare students for assessments and identify at-risk students.
• Monitor student engagement and track assessment submissions with escalation.
• Attend academic meetings across faculties.
• Reflect on, review and analyse student module results.
• Support monitoring of at-risk students in assigned modules.
• Complete required academic development interventions per cycle.
