Qualifications

• Master's degree with a research methodology subject/component and dissertation/project.
• Honours degree at NQF8 plus Master’s with research component within NQF9.
• Lecturing experience in research methods and related methodologies preferable.
• Experience supervising postgraduate students at NQF8 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and engage students per module requirements.
• Manage resources including academic materials and consult with the Information Centre.
• Update learning management system and provide feedback to students.
• Prepare and assess students; identify at-risk students and develop assessments.
• Monitor student engagement and submission, escalate when needed.
• Attend academic meetings across faculties to contribute insights.
• Reflect on and analyse module results; monitor at-risk students.
• Pursue academic professional development to improve teaching practice.
